Berlin Risk Advisors is pleased to announce that Managing Director Jennifer Hanley-Giersch will speak at the 12th International Compliance Forum, taking place on 20 May 2026 at the Parklane Resort & Spa in Limassol, Cyprus.
This year’s forum, titled “Compliance Unbound 2026: Crime, Conduct & the New Rules of Risk”, will bring together regulators, compliance professionals, financial crime experts and industry leaders to discuss the evolving risk landscape facing financial institutions and regulated businesses.
Jennifer will deliver a keynote presentation titled “Rational, Reluctant or Rogue? The Human Psychology behind Fraud”. Her presentation will examine the behavioural and organisational factors that can enable fraud, misconduct and compliance failures, with a focus on how individuals and institutions respond to pressure, incentives and weak control environments.
The wider conference agenda will address a broad range of issues at the centre of today’s compliance debate, including AML effectiveness, sanctions compliance, crypto risk, MiCA, DORA, data governance, ESG and conduct risk, enforcement trends, and the evolving role of compliance as a whole-company function.
For Berlin Risk Advisors, the event provides an important opportunity to contribute to the discussion on how organisations can strengthen their approach to integrity, financial crime prevention and risk-based compliance. Drawing on our experience in integrity due diligence, investigative research and AML/CFT advisory work, we look forward to exchanging views with colleagues from Cyprus and across the international compliance community.
We look forward to joining the conversation in Limassol.
