The Assembly Europe is one of ACAMS’ flagship European anti-financial crime events, bringing together compliance, AML, sanctions, fraud, regulatory and financial-crime professionals to discuss the key developments shaping the European and international risk landscape. The 2026 programme will address a range of current issues, including the impact of AMLA, AI-enabled financial crime, sanctions evasion, MiCA, cross-border intelligence sharing and the future of financial-crime investigations.
Ahead of the main conference, Vlada will contribute to the pre-conference workshop “Investigations Deep Dive: A Roadmap from Source Data to Regulator Reporting”, taking place on 11 May 2026 from 13:00 to 16:00.
Vlada will join George Voloshin, Craig Timm and Arjen Berghouwer for a practical deep-dive session on the lifecycle of complex financial-crime investigations. The workshop will examine how investigative teams can move from initial source data to clear, regulator-ready reporting, particularly in cases involving cross-border activity, multiple data sources and complex evidentiary requirements.
The discussion will address how KYC data, open-source intelligence, trade records and blockchain analytics can be combined to build comprehensive investigative narratives. It will also consider how investigators can manage evidence securely, assess issues of concern and mitigating factors, and translate findings into actionable reporting for compliance, legal and regulatory stakeholders.
For Berlin Risk Advisors, the workshop provides an important opportunity to contribute to the discussion on how enhanced due diligence and complex investigations are evolving in response to new financial-crime threats, technological change and rising regulatory expectations. Drawing on our experience in integrity due diligence, investigative research, AML/CFT advisory work and cross-border investigations, we look forward to exchanging views with colleagues from across the anti-financial crime community.
We look forward to joining the conversation.
